Acupuncture

Acupuncture evaluation and treatment may be appropriate for several conditions. Some common conditions treated with acupuncture include; pain, digestive issues, fertility challenges or as a supportive addition to IVF, stress and anxiety, insomnia facial rejuvenation and general wellness. Chinese herbal medicines and nutritional advise may also be a part of your treatment plan.

Dr. Pierce is Dry Needing certified and one of the few Dry Needing certified providers who can legally practice this technique in California as a licensed acupuncturist. Dry Needling treatment is utilized for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and injury, based on orthopedic and neurological examination and palpation findings. Trigger point dry needling utilizes solid needles and incorporates manual manipulation of the needle to often elicit a twitch response or at tendon insertions to improve blood flow and healing. Electrical stimulation may also be applied.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy services. Prenatal, deep tissue, lymphatic or traditional Swedish massage. Tipping is not required, but appreciated and is not included in the fee for your massage. Tips may be given through Venmo, Zelle or cash at the time of your service. Thank you!

Chiropractic

Chiropractic services my include, but are not limited to; health history, physical examination, spinal or extraspinal joint mobilizations/manipulations, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. All services are performed by Dr. Tara Pierce. Benefits of these services are diagnosis of injury, pain relief and education for management of symptoms and prevention of future episodes.

Naturopathy

A naturopathic doctor (ND) is a licensed healthcare provider who focuses on natural and holistic approaches to health and healing. They are trained in both conventional medical sciences and natural therapies, emphasizing prevention, treating the root cause of illness, and supporting the body’s innate ability to heal.

IV Therapies

IV therapies deliver vitamins, minerals, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream for fast, effective absorption. They can boost energy, improve hydration, enhance immunity, and support overall wellness.

Intramuscular + Injectibles

Intramuscular injections provide a quick and targeted dose of essential vitamins and nutrients, offering benefits like increased energy, immune support, and improved recovery.

Dr. Tara Pierce DC, LAc, MDNC

Tara Pierce is a dual licensed doctor of chiropractic and holds a master’s degree in acupuncture and Eastern medicine. Dr. Pierce is also a master dry needling certified practitioner with over a decade of experience treating people of all walks of life and injuries to all regions of the body.

As a certified Webster Technique provider, Dr. Pierce is proficient and confident treating pregnant patients for musculoskeletal pain throughout all stages of their pregnancy.

Shannon Hennigar

Shannon Hennigar has been practicing acupuncture for 20 years and is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the California State Board since 2005. She also is credentialled for the National Board (NCCAOM), for out of state licensure. She received her Bachelor of Science in Holistic Medicine and Master of Science in Chinese Medicine from South Baylo University.

Shannon has experience treating a wide variety of patients in multidisciplinary healthcare settings. From working alongside western medicine healthcare professionals such as Physical Therapists and Chiropractors to eastern medical masters of Qigong, Herbology and Reflexology, she has a balanced perspective in treating the human body. Shannon utilizes the natural healing modalities of acupuncture, cupping and herbal therapy to bring her patients back to a healthy thriving state. She enjoys helping people discover their own body’s innate healing capacity. Other adjunct therapies that Shannon uses in her treatments include micro needling, aroma-point therapy, Acu- tonics sound therapy, red light/LED light therapy, moxibustion and micro current. Dr. Jenny Im is a California board-certified Naturopathic Medical Doctor with a deep passion for integrative and natural medicine. She received her doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and her Doctor of Acupuncture specialized in Herb from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Dr. Im is also a National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) board-certified Diplomat of Acupuncture.
